This holiday season, until December 13, 2024, CN Police Services and Risk Mitigation are collecting non-perishable food items, baby formula, diapers and toys to help out local families who have been hard hit by increased inflation and high interest rates. CN will be working with the Salvation Army to distribute these items to local communities.

Drop off your non-perishable food items, baby formula and diapers or unwrapped new toys (for children aged 8-15 years of age) in a donation box at one of the following locations:
In Illinois:

- Gateway Grain Facility Office
- Gateway MIT break room
- Glen Yard Office
- Harris Shop (break room)
- Hawthorn Yard Office
- Homewood Administration Building (front door and RTC break room)
- Homewood Campus (front door-front desk)
- Joliet Yard Office
In Indiana

- In Gary: Kirk Yard-KY100, KY194 and LRC buildings
